I have always loved the majesty and serenity of the sea turtles of the oceans. Here, I show Sam, the Sea Turtle, soaring above the coral reefs. You can see the calmness and joy in his eyes as he surveys his realm, as the sun filters through the rolling waves above.
I was born and raised in Orange County, California, not too far from the Pacific Ocean. My childhood and teens took me through the turbulent and colorful decades of the fifties and sixties, graduating from High School in 1969. I always had a great passion for the ocean, creating art and building things, and learned a lot about carpentry from my father. My Career as an Industrial Designer began by completing a four year degree in Product and Transportation Design at Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California.
