Artist's Description

I designed motorcycles for Suzuki in the 1980's. This is the original concept sketch that was chosen for the body styling of the 1988 Suzuki Intruder 800cc Cruiser. The bike went into production in 1988. I was excited to test drive one of the first 1988 intruders that were introduced, and it was a very sweet ride!

About Donald Presnell

Donald Presnell

I was born and raised in Orange County, California, not too far from the Pacific Ocean. My childhood and teens took me through the turbulent and colorful decades of the fifties and sixties, graduating from High School in 1969. I always had a great passion for the ocean, creating art and building things, and learned a lot about carpentry from my father. (BSID, 1983) I later received an MBA in 1999 from the George Washington University, Washington DC) I have been married to a beautiful, talented and intelligent woman, Gretchen, for five decades, now. We are best...
