We enjoy going on drives, and on one drive to Belle Isle State Park, I noticed this abandoned barn that was in a state of disrepair. It is a large structure, and must have been magnificent in its early years. The state highway came through; the farm was cut in half, and it gradually lost its function and charm.
I was born and raised in Orange County, California, not too far from the Pacific Ocean. My childhood and teens took me through the turbulent and colorful decades of the fifties and sixties, graduating from High School in 1969. I always had a great passion for the ocean, creating art and building things, and learned a lot about carpentry from my father. My Career as an Industrial Designer began by completing a four year degree in Product and Transportation Design at Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California.
