Living in Southern California, there was always so much rich culture, dance and music to be experienced and absorbed from the colorful Latino community. I tried to capture just a small part of the joyful motion, vibes, and colors of a Mexican Fiesta in this still life of guitar, sax, trumpet and maracas.
I was born and raised in Orange County, California, not too far from the Pacific Ocean. My childhood and teens took me through the turbulent and colorful decades of the fifties and sixties, graduating from High School in 1969. I always had a great passion for the ocean, creating art and building things, and learned a lot about carpentry from my father. My Career as an Industrial Designer began by completing a four year degree in Product and Transportation Design at Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California.
