This is a photograph of Agawa River in one particularly rocky section. We have to remember that it is the rock filters that help purify the waters as they work their way to Lake Superior. Sometimes obstacles are for our own good, and help us develop strength and focus. I added a watercolor filter into this photo to give it a "painterly" effect when it is blown up.
I was born and raised in Orange County, California, not too far from the Pacific Ocean. My childhood and teens took me through the turbulent and colorful decades of the fifties and sixties, graduating from High School in 1969. I always had a great passion for the ocean, creating art and building things, and learned a lot about carpentry from my father. My Career as an Industrial Designer began by completing a four year degree in Product and Transportation Design at Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California.
